Edited down from 45 minutes, this video covers the removal and installation of a
left front wheel bearing for a 1999 Chevy S-10 4x4.
Started with a grinding
nose and slight steering wheel vibration that got progressively worse and
much louder when driving on curves. Originally replaced the older right side
bearing given neither one showed signs of being worn out upon inspection. Come
to find out it was the left bearing that had failed and this video shows it's
replacement.
This also fixed the ABS problem I was having as upon inspection,
part of the ABS wire to this bearing had actually broken. |
