Replacing a starter on my 1999 Lexus ES300 was not all that hard. I had metric socket
and combination wrenches and a Phillip's screw driver. In this video I show
you how I uninstalled the starter and then replaced it in pretty good detail.
I think I read where this starter is used in 1998 to 2001, and so basically you
could use the same procedure that is shown here, but check to make sure before
you go out on a limb. Unless you are a certified mechanic or really know what
you are doing do not attempt this as it could injury yourself severely.
